\nWith a resolute heart and cheerful?
\nOr hide your face from the light of day
\nWith a craven soul and fearful?
\nOh, a trouble\u2019s a ton, or a trouble\u2019s an ounce,
\nOr a trouble is what you make it.
\nAnd it isn\u2019t the fact that you\u2019re hurt that counts,
\nBut only how did you take it?<\/p>\n
\nCome up with a smiling face.
\nIt\u2019s nothing against you to fall down flat,
\nBut to lie there — that\u2019s disgrace.
\nThe harder you\u2019re thrown, why the higher you bounce;
\nBe proud of your blackened eye!
\nIt isn\u2019t the fact that you\u2019re licked that counts;
